Within the scope of the Velux Konak Project, the K-CELL (Bi-Directional Load Test) conducted on a 47-meter-long barrette pile and reaching a maximum test load of 30,000 kN has been successfully completed.<\/p>\n

This significant engineering application has demonstrated our capability to verify the performance of deep foundation systems in the field with high accuracy, reliability, and advanced instrumentation technologies.<\/p>\n

During the test, the load was applied in a controlled and incremental manner through a load cell system integrated within the pile, utilizing two high-capacity hydraulic jacks, each rated at 20,000 kN. Throughout the operation, system pressurization was managed with precision and operational safety through a fully automated air-driven control infrastructure.<\/p>\n

To comprehensively evaluate the pile behavior under load, an extensive instrumentation system was installed, consisting of 36 strain gauges positioned at nine different levels along the pile shaft and 16 displacement transducers. This instrumentation enabled high-precision monitoring of strain, load transfer, and displacement responses, allowing detailed engineering assessment of pile performance.<\/p>\n

All data acquired during the test were shared in real time through kasktas.digital<\/strong>, Kaskta\u015f\u2019s proprietary digital monitoring platform, providing project stakeholders with continuous, transparent, and simultaneous access to test results.<\/p>\n

Using the upward and downward load\u2013displacement data obtained from the K-CELL bi-directional load test, the equivalent behavior of the pile under conventional top-down loading conditions was modeled. In addition, the mobilized shaft resistance, mobilized end bearing resistance, and overall load transfer mechanism were evaluated and quantified in detail.<\/p>\n

This achievement not only provided technical verification for a high-capacity pile foundation system but also demonstrated our commitment to digitalization, data transparency, and the effective implementation of advanced testing technologies in geotechnical engineering.<\/p>\n
