KASKTAŞ Inc. General Manager Rasin Düzceer attended the EFFC Executive Committee event organized by the “European Federation of Foundation Contractors (EFFC)” between 11:00 and 14:00 on April 22, 2021. Issues, such as the decisions taken last year, sustainability, financial situation and the impact of the pandemic on the geotechnical industry were discussed at the meeting. The decisions taken are as follows.
- EFFC has added new objectives such as reducing the impact of Covid in the geotechnical industry, digitalisation and decarbonisation for 2021-2026.
- EFFC has decided to engage more with contractor community to disseminate information and recruit the next generation. In addition, early career groups will be established.
- EFFC will develop resources for the use of universities by organizing online webinars, and will hold online video conferences twice a year for Associate Members to promote their activities.
- EFFC Sustainability Working Groups will primarily produce a sustainability roadmap, update and report.
