Maad Hotel Towers Project
The 1st phase of the Maad Hotel Towers Project, which is located on Ibrahim Al-Khalil Street, directly accessible to the Haram, in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, comprised of the rock stabilization works and was completed in 2018. The contract for the 2nd phase of the same project, which covers the North side rock stabilization works, has been signed with Maad International Company. The project consists of 21 hotels and aims to be able to house up to 22,000 pilgrims during peak seasons. Within the scope of the project, there is 10,500 m of rock bolt installation. The project is planned to be completed in 90 days.
Buraidah Storm Water Project
The project consists of the shoring works for the safe excavation of the Mashtal and Naqae Water Pump Stations within the scope of the Buraidah Storm Water Project, which is located in Al Qassim Region, Buraidah. The contract has been signed with Saudi Services for Electro Mechanic Works (SSEM) Company. The project of both sites includes the installation of berliner wall and dewatering system, as well as operating and maintenance of it.
King Abdulaziz Road Project – Zone 5
The King Abdulaziz Road Project, located in Makkah, was started with Stretch 4, Zone 9 which includes the design and construction of the shoring works to protect 700 mm water pipe, in 2019. The contract for the Zone 5, which comprises of the temporary and permanent shoring works during culvert excavation to ensure the stability of Umm Al Qura road that is connected to the Haram, has been signed with Nesma & Partners Contracting Co. The project includes installations of berliner wall, temporary and permanent anchor, rock bolt and shotcrete works.
Tahliyah Underpass Project
The underpass project has been launched in order to reduce the heavy traffic at the junction of Tahliyah Street and Medina Road in Jeddah. The soil improvement works comprise of the design and implementation of bottom plug by means of tangent jet grouting to form an impervious blanket. The purpose of bottom plug is to minimize the ground water for the underpass excavation and protection of the existing buildings and foundations of the Medinah Road Bridge. The project for soil improvement works has been designed by Kasktaş. The contract for the Jet Grout column installation has been singed with Advanced Construction Company. Within the scope of the project, 45% of the jet grout plug installations of 2 m length on 12,000 m2 area, has been completed by the end of March 2020.
