A tower is planned to be built for National Company for Mechanical System in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The contract covering the shoring works for the safe excavation pit of the foundations of the tower was signed with Mafaheem Al-E’mar on September 9, 2020. The shoring project, which was designed by Kasktaş, includes 8.100 m of Secant Pile and 5.600 m of Anchor works.
Secant pile executions were commenced on October 10, 2020 and completed on March 15, 2021. After the completion of the piling works, excavation and head beam construction works were started. The construction site was excavated and made ready for the execution of the first row of anchor works as of April 30, 2021. By the end of May 2021, 1.500 m of anchor has been completed. The remaining work is planned to be completed by September 15, 2021.
