Refurbishment of Prince George Wharf in Nassau Cruise Port Project, located in the Bahamas, was completed on November 30, 2021 with the accomplishment of vibrocompaction in the reclamation area.
Project was started on December 5, 2020 with the first installation of tubular pile guide for combi wall productions. 133 no. of tubular king piles and 132 no. of sheet piles were driven in order to complete the 335 m long new berth. Following the completion of combi wall, 140 no. of anchor sheet piles and 133 no. of tie-rods were installed for the stabilization of the combi wall system. Lastly, after dredging and reclamation works, vibrocompaction works for reclamation area was started on September 24, 2021 and the project was completed by compacting 13,200 m2 of reclamation area.
