Kasktaş continues to renovate its machinery and equipment fleet. The mobilization and set-up of recently purchased Bauer MC96-BC48 HDS-T Hydraulic Cutter machine has been completed at Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant Project as of April 29, 2021. With the trial excavation performed on May 3, 2021, the machine was made ready for the execution. Thanks to the new MC96-BC48 Hydraulic Cutter, which strengthens our Machinery and Equipment fleet and has the title of the largest and most powerful Hydraulic Cutter Machine in Turkey, we increased the excavation depths of the 150 cm thick panels from 100 meters to a maximum of 120 meters. Equipped with the latest technology, the machine can be monitored online and remotely controlled. In addition, the ability of the Hydraulic Cutter to rotate from -50 degrees to 90 degrees shall enable to successfully execute panels at the corners and overlapping areas, even where panel layout is troublesome.
