Two towers are planned to be built for the National Company for Mechanical System in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The contract covering the shoring works for the safe excavation pit of the foundations of the towers was signed with Mafaheem Al-E’mar on September 9, 2020. The shoring project, which was designed by Kasktaş, includes 8,100 m of Secant Pile and 5,600 m of Anchor works.
Within the scope of the project, secant pile works were started on October 10, 2020, and completed on March 15, 2021. Following the completion of piling works, excavation and head beam construction works were completed, respectively. As of November 15, 2021, the excavation works were completed and the last row of anchor works are ongoing. The remaining works in the project, of which 95% have been built, are planned to be completed in a short time and afterwards the project will be handed over to the main contractor.
