Satellite Desalination Plants Construction Project, Umluj Plant
Within the scope of the Satellite Desalination Plants Construction Project, Saudi Arabian Ministry of Environment aims to build 8 number of desalination plants on the shoreline of Red Sea. The Umluj Plant is one these eight plants and capable of desalinating 18,000 m3 of sea water to provide to the residential area. 2,000 m of 1000 mm diameter secant pile installation for the water inlet structures has been completed.
King Abdullah Economic City Solar Desalination Plant Project
The water supply for the on-going King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC); which is located on the shoreline of Red Sea, will be supported with the Solar Desalination Plant with a capacity of purifying 30,000 m3 of sea water for domestic use of the city. Within the scope of the project; 2,900 m of 1000 mm diameter secant pile and dewatering drillings were completed.
King Abdul Aziz Road Project
Within the scope of the Project, ground anchors, soil nails, shotcrete and Berliner Wall applications were successfully completed. When the King Abdul Aziz Road Project in Makkah will be completed, it will transport visitors coming via Haramain Railway, which connects Madinah, Jeddah and Makkah cities, from Makkah to Haram via metro lines. The project is one of the most significant complex projects which includes 9.5 km underground road, 60-m-wide traffic free pedestrian way, hotels, underpasses, overpasses, metro stations and improvement of underground structures.
