Thakher Investment and Real Estate Development Company Limited (TIREC) plans to develop Thakher City, which is mainly composed of hotels, located in Al Andalus, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The project covers the constructions of 97 buildings spreading over a built-up area of 2,000,000 m2.
Within the scope of project, Foundation Piles were designed by Kasktaş in order to secure the building located in the vicinity of rock cut. Since the ground conditions comprise with high strength rock layers in Makkah, modified drilling machines and DTH (down the hole) method is used for bored pile installation works. Bored pile installation works were started as of February 2022 and planned to be completed by the end of March 2022.
