As part of the ongoing Refurbishment and Expansion Project at the Nassau Cruise Port, the installation of steel driven piles for the new Super Yacht Terminal were completed on August 14, 2025. The process, which began on July 21, 2025, was concluded within the planned 24-day timeframe.
The project involved the installation of 68 steel driven piles, with diameters of 24 and 30 inches and a length of 24 meters each. The construction activities were carried out within a fully operational port, one of the busiest in the region. According to the project summary, all necessary health and safety precautions were implemented, resulting in the completion of the pile installation with a zero-accident record. This crucial phase of construction supports the development of the new terminal, which is aimed at enhancing the country’s tourism sector by attracting more super yachts.
