Construction works within the scope of the Al-Moosa Specialist Hospital Project, located in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, commenced on August 26, 2024. The diaphragm wall works were successfully completed as planned on June 12, 2025, and 75% progress has been achieved in the bored pile works. The remaining works, including bored piles, anchors, excavation, and dewatering, are scheduled to be completed by March 29, 2026.
The hospital, which will have a construction area of 306,000 m² on a footprint of 45,000 m², will become the largest healthcare complex in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia upon completion. Moreover, this project will significantly increase the healthcare service capacity in the region and, with its modern infrastructure, will meet the growing needs of the area. The hospital design has been developed to support environmentally friendly practices, focusing on energy efficiency and minimizing environmental impacts. Construction is being carried out with the goal of achieving LEED Gold certification, one of the most prestigious environmental certifications.
