The new Stadium, located in Leninsky Komsomol Park, Donetsk, home of FC Shakhtar and is the first stadium in Ukraine to aspire to UEFA and FIFA 5-star status with seating capacity for 50,000 spectators. The project has seen the driving of 19,600 m of 350×350 mm reinforced concrete precast piles completed in 2006. The installation of bored piles and permanent ground anchors were completed in 2007. KASKTAŞ has undertaken all design and on site management works with regard to the geotechnical engineering activites performed for the project. The stadium was opened in August 2009.
